It’s amazing how quickly time passes during the summer. For me, busy summer days are spent training, recovering, studying for my university course, and spending time with friends or family.
I recently got back from a week of training with the Centre National D’Entrainement Pierre Harvey in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Québec. While there, I spent a lot of time working on my technique, speed, and strength. I found that one of the best parts about being with the CNEPH was training with girls who are both my good friends and some of my biggest competitors —it made for a very motivating and enjoyable training atmosphere!
Run up the Grassi Lakes trail with my brother
Meanwhile in Canmore, the novelty of living in the Rocky Mountains has still not worn off, and I have been spending a lot of time hiking. In addition to that, I have been working with RMR on strength, running, cycling, rollerskiing, and great ski walking intensity sessions.
Hike up Lady MacDonald
Until next time,
